Cerys Holley
Cerys Holley is our niece and is 11 years old. When Cerys moved back from America when she was 2 she came to visit her auntie Gayle at the yard. The moment her eyes lit up when she saw Hamish the Shetland we knew she was going to be pony mad! As soon as she was old enough to ride in the ring we purchased her first show pony and from then on she has grown in to a fabulous show rider gaining incredible results! She has qualified for the horse of the year show 5 times and has been in the top 5 at the final! Cerys loves to jump too and has a pony called monty that she gets so much enjoyment out of, always coming home with a double clear and a grin from ear to ear! She has an extremely exciting future ahead of her. With her dedication and great sportsmanship she is sure to make it to the top!

Name: William Parkin Age: 9 Ponies I ride: Newoak Gold Edition Stretcholt Pussykin I’ve been riding since I was 18months old, I started on a little section a pony called Annie who loved to be dirty and was a very cheeky monkey. We competed at our first show at the age of 2 and in that year we did 5 shows with 4 wins. When I was still only 1 years old my grandparents bought me a 2yr old dartmoor Poppy, Newoak Golden Edition who took me into heritage lead rein from the age of 3 and to the present day now doing first riddens together. We’ve had many wins together qualifying for RIHS 5 years on the trot in both the Pretty Polly and Open classes. Nikki my Show pony who we’ve had since she was 4 did a few seasons on the lead with wins at the BSPS championships but really was intended to be my first ridden. This being our first season together solo. In the very sort season we’ve had this year, it’s been amazing with loads of wins and champions including at the BSPS Championships in the 4 classes we did we had two wins a reserve champion and two 3rds. I love being apart of Team Holder because we have lots of fun in and out of the show ring. Everyone supports each other big or small, win or lose and we have great parties. Thank you Gayle and Emma for everything you’ve done for me and my ponies. Your the best. Love William xx
