Since I was young I have always been interested in horses. From playing with toy ponies at home and running around the yard helping my mum, I was hooked! I first started riding at the age of 4, when I got my first pony called Strawberry who helped me gain confidence in the saddle. One of my first memories with her was falling off into the sand as she napped to the gate. I was first introduced to Team Holder 7 years ago when they asked me to ride a lead rein in the ring. With Emma giving me lessons I progressed onto a 12.2sp (Romanno Spot the Talent) owned by Deborah Walton-Smith. With the endless support from my mum and dad taking me to Guildford for lessons and many shows, none of this would have been possible. In 2017 we then brought Castle Hill Icon aka Rocky, who was my once in a lifetime pony who I’ll never forget. We went on to win Supreme Junior rider at CHAPS, Champion at PUK and galloping around the main arena Hickstead will be a moment I will never forget. Sadly my legs got to long, Now I am looking forward to next season competing with Burghwallis Fantasia owned by Steph Powell and excited to see how Star(Burghwallis VavaVoom) comes on in the future. Team Holder have provided me with amazing opportunities and such solid support, I can’t thank them enough! Emma and Gayle have taught me so much and have been like a second family.
